The pandemic has had a substantial impact on the economy, straining pre-pandemic gains in income and poverty reduction. wide-ranging policy measures, including containment protocols, rapid vaccination booster campaigns, direct support, support for borrowers businesses, mitigated adverse lives well-being. As recedes light of uncertainties from war Ukraine, focus needs to be securing livelihoods ensuring strong job-rich medium-term growth, while minimizing any persistent effects mitigating risks.
